If you need a LOT of screen space this is an excellent monitor. It is bright, crisp and with a good viewable angle but most of all it runs at 1920×1200 pixels in native mode. If you are doing programming and need a lot of room to show code and other windows this is an excellent buy.

This monitor is one of the best Twisted Nematic displays I have ever owned. Super fast refresh rates, and I really like that it is 16:10 instead of the more common 16:9 as I prefer the large vertical for games like Eve-Online.
Side by side to my Dell 2004 FPW this thing has noticeably better color depth, much sharper contrast for blacks and whites, and the brightness actually needed to be turned down to 75% and it’s still much brighter than my dell on max.
I am very pleased with this monitor but as it is a TN display if you are looking more for a media monitor you may want to consider a non-TN display as the colors do dull if not viewing directly into the screen. All in all great buy for the size, and no dead pixels after 3 months of use.

The monitor is OK, nothing special. Stand rotates 90-270 degrees but the short power cord included comes loose and cannot be locked in. The software for viewing rotated display may be dangerous to your PC health. Thus, the rotation feature becomes unusable.
BEWARE! The software that comes with it has not been thoroughly tested. It caused my Windows XP system to reboot and reboot and reboot. Windows would open and it would display Samsung Magic Rotation logo and then reboot. Customer “service” has NO software support. Everyone would I spoke with was technically clueless. It’s a good thing that I’m trained in these matters or I’d be stuck with a PC repair bill.
