   it’s a good mic, but it picks up EVERYTHING. so you have to use it in a quiet setting.

   i used the microphone on these headphones for this video –> [...]
   
   you can hear both me, and the cars going by outside the window! (that i could barely hear with my own ears)

   also, the markings of right and left rubbed off so i just have to remember that the side with the mic goes in my left ear.

   Due to a new job which takes me overseas frequently, I have to use VOIP to call back home (or be charged ridiculous hotel telephone fees). My laptop’s internal mic and speakers work poorly with Skype, and I needed a highly portable “headset”.

   The sound quality for both the mic and the headphones are excellent, and feel just like my seinheiser headphones that I use for my ipod. Also the price point is very fair. I also use the headset to watch movies on my laptop.

   Great buy.

   Update: After 2 months of use, I would have to drop this down to 1 star. The microphone keeps kicking out. Don’t bother with this.

   It was hard to find a in-ear microphone. Finally i found this. And for the given cost this is a very good product.
   
   It worked very well with my laptop. I liked the product much.

   I bought this for use with Skype and voip. It looks a bit fragile and cheapy but very comfortable to wear. Come with 2 sizes of rubber/silicon plugs. Sound quality is very good even for music listening. Microphone is sensitive enough and high fidelity. It’s a good buy.

   Item received on time the price was great. The headset works really good blooking out other noises in the room and the microphone also works well the person on the other side can hear all very clear. It’s hard to find this type of headsets in the stores they are usually big and bulky and at an outrageous price. Works great with Skype, GTalk and I’m sure with any other program.
